St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a full time experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic Interventional Radiology (IR) team. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting a broad spectrum of procedures in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Position Highlights:
- Monday-Friday schedule - no call, no weekends
- Inpatient & outpatient care mix
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-procedure histories and physical exams
- Providing inpatient consultative services in collaboration with the attending physician
- Provide patient follow up including inpatient and outpatient concerns
- Ordering diagnostic tests, labs, and medications in partnership with nursing staff
- Managing discharge instructions, prescriptions, and referrals
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives and clinical education
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients undergoing interventional procedures
Qualifications:
- Masters degree with NP or PA certification
- NYS licensure and active DEA registration
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-acuity clinical setting
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience required (any service line)
- Strong preference for candidates with surgical, interventional radiology (IR), emergency medicine, or ICU experience
