General Surgeon- Full-Time Opportunity
GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center - Jackson, MS
The GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a dedicated General Surgeon to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), providing up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified candidates.
Position Highlights:
- Provides guidance and clinical supervision for the nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health technicians assigned to the Surgical Service when appropriate.
- Provides guidance and supervision for the medical students and residents assigned to the Surgical Service
- Participates and attends medical center committee meetings as assigned by the Chief, Surgical Service in his/her absence.

- Tour of duty (schedule): to be determined
- Salary range: $300,000 - $400,000
Basic Requirements:
- Board-certified/board-eligible
- Unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
