Physician (Urologist) – Full-Time Opportunity
GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center – Jackson, MS
The GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a dedicated Physician (Urologist) to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary.
Position Highlights:
- Assess and manage patients in Urology Clinic, as well as wards, emergency department, and nursing home.
- Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care to urology patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary activities involving the treatment plan and discharge plan of patents.
- Provide guidance and clinical supervision of the nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and health technicians assigned to the Surgical Service when appropriate.
- When requested, serve as the Acting Chief, Surgical Services during the absence of the Chief, Surgical Services.
- Competitive salary and full federal benefits package
- Tour of duty (schedule): to be determined
- Salary range: $250,000 - $400,000
Basic Requirements:
- Board-certified/board-eligible
- Unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
