We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compensation and Pension (C&P) Psychologist to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will conduct psychological evaluations for Veterans applying for disability benefits, playing a critical role in the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) claims process. This non-treatment role focuses on diagnostic clarity and documentation to support accurate and fair disability determinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured evaluations and assessments for Veterans related to service-connected mental health claims
- Complete high-quality, timely documentation using DBQs and other required formats
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth, Veteran-centered care coordination
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations, privacy policies, and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship
- Full, unrestricted license to practice psychology in a U.S. state or territory
- Prior experience in C&P exams or forensic mental health assessments strongly preferred
- Strong documentation and clinical interview skills
