VA Primary Care Physician - Fallon, Nevada

Job Summary: This position is part of an outpatient primary care team providing comprehensive care to veterans. The physician will be responsible for the overall care of patients and be a key member of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans to address various health issues.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide primary care services for a panel of veteran patients, including disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic and acute conditions.
• Emphasize preventive medicine and promote health-conscious behaviors.
• Coordinate patient care through consultations with other healthcare providers, labs, and specialists when necessary.
• Engage in quality improvement efforts to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with VA policies.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: Competitive remuneration package with performance bonuses and regular pay increases.
