The Department of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Clinician Educator to serve as Associate Program Director (APD) in their Osteopathic Internal Medicine Residency Program at South Pointe Hospital.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the educational and clinical experiences of our residents, fostering a holistic approach to patient care, and maintaining the highest standards of medical education.
This APD will coordinate ambulatory experiences and resident scheduling to ensure efficient workflows and quality care; integrate osteopathic principles and manipulative treatment into training and curriculum; continuously evaluate and enhance the ambulatory curriculum in alignment with accreditation standards; lead resident education, mentorship, and wellness initiatives and support program administration, including accreditation, recruitment, evaluation, and strategic planning.
Practicing as part of our academic Internal Medicine site at South Pointe, they will rotate clinically into inpatient teaching service, outpatient precepting and private patient clinics in Primary care. Additional opportunities exist for teaching our medical students and Advanced Practice Practitioner students. Academic appointment within Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine is available.
