Work Schedule:
- Regular hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: Competitive salary with annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.
- Paid Time Off: 50–55 days per year, including:
- 26 days of annual leave
- 13 days of sick leave
- 11 paid federal holidays
- Possible 5-day paid absence for Continuing Medical Education (CME)

- No Physician Employment Contract.
- No significant restrictions on moonlighting.
About the Role:
The Physician - Assistant Chief, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) will report to the Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The successful applicant will be a licensed pathologist, board-certified by the American Board of Pathology in both anatomic and clinical pathology.
Anatomic Pathology Section Includes:
- Surgical Pathology
- Cytopathology
- Dermatopathology
- Hematopathology
- Autopsy
- Histology lab
- Immunohistochemistry lab
Clinical Pathology Division Includes:
- Blood Bank
- Chemistry and Toxicology
- Hematology
- Immunology
- Microbiology
- Phlebotomy
- Point of Care testing
- Urinalysis
- Send-out testing
- Potential in-house Flow Cytometry
