Contract: Initial 3-year term, renewable yearly

Venus Ob-Gyn is a well-established, high-volume OB/GYN practice recognized for its excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). The practice is MIS certified and affiliated with the Women & Infants Health System, while primarily practicing at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island, and their clinic in Cranston, Rhode Island. Led by Dr. Amr Kadar, a clinical professor at Brown University, Venus ObGyn combines academic expertise with a community-focused practice.
The group delivers a full spectrum of womens health services and advanced procedures, including urodynamics, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, fibroid treatments, and ablation procedures. Youll join a supportive team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs, working collaboratively with hospitalists and a broad network of specialty providers.
The practice performs approximately 300 deliveries annually at Kent Hospitalrepresenting nearly 50% of the hospitals 600 yearly deliveries.
Outpatient Care: 4 clinic days per week; average of ~20 patients/day
In-office Procedures: Colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, hysteroscopy, urodynamic testing, pelvic floor therapy, cryotherapy, and more
Surgical Services: Access to advanced surgical suites, DaVinci robotic surgery, and minimally invasive techniques.
MIGS-focused practice designated with proctoring opportunities.
Hospital Deliveries: Average ~2 per week per provider, supported by NICU and full specialty backup
The lead physician is a high-volume robotic surgeon
Surgical block time, including robotic block

Must reside within 30 minutes of Kent Hospital for call coverage
Occasional APP supervision (no additional compensation)
Competitive Compensation (commensurate with experience)
