Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative care team model at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. This is an excellent opportunity to practice a wide range of anesthesia services at one of Tennessees highest-volume medical centers.

Schedule & Team

  • Full call-taking position
  • Collaborative care team of 25+ physicians (including two fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists) and 70+ CRNAs
  • Led by Frederick Jones, MD
  • Supportive, team-oriented environment where all voices are valued

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Provide medical management of patients undergoing surgery and procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Administer anesthesia: induction, maintenance, and emergence
  • Monitor patients physiological condition throughout procedures
  • Provide clinical interventions as needed

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX certification (if applicable)
  • Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesia
  • Current medical license

Compensation & Benefits (Total Rewards)
