Job Summary
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced, state-of-the-art medicine in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians and a dedicated nursing staff.Job Duties
Position Highlights:
- 14 shifts/monthwith a mix ofday and night (nocturnal stipend offered) 12-hour shifts(7 am-7 pm or 7 pm-7 am)
- Work alongside critical care physicians in acollaborative, team-based model
- Provide comprehensive care: assessment, planning, education, treatment, and follow-up
- Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines, Temporary dialysis catheters, Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others
Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives
- Serve as apatient advocate, liaison, and trusted advisor for patients and families
- Moonlighting opportunitiesavailable for additional income
