The Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine physician to join our inpatient oncology hospitalist team at our main campus in Cleveland, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients with hematologic and solid tumor malignancies at a leading academic medical center.
The successful candidate will lead the inpatient management of admitted patients with a range of hematologic and solid tumor malignancies during daytime hours (seven day on/seven day off schedule) and will be committed to providing skilled and compassionate care.
Key responsibilities include day-to-day clinical care of patients and supervision of advanced practice providers, as well as close collaboration with consultants.
The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Hematology/Medical Oncology and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Ohio.
Applicants with two or more years of hospitalist experience are encouraged to apply; however, recent graduates of Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship programs are also strongly encouraged, regardless of prior hospitalist experience.
