Opportunity Highlights:
- 50/50 Flex Role: Balanced inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology practice.
• Full-Time Schedule: 40-hour workweek consisting of 36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week.
• Rotating Shared Call Coverage for weekdays and weekends – light, telephone-based only.
• Adjunct Academic Appointment for hospital admitting privileges.
• Direct Connection with the Gastroenterology Academic Department for mentorship, guidance, and additional support.

Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
Training/Education:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
• Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
• Successful completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from said residency.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
