What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Alaska and current federal/state certifications.
- Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including physical examinations and patient interviews.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various settings and work independently.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in telehealth or rural healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine.
- Prior locum or temporary role experience is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Must have own transportation and clinic setup within the specified radius of Juneau, Sitka, or Delta Junction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including half-day and full-day shifts.
- Willingness to perform assessments, interviews, and documentation with minimal supervision.
This position offers hourly pay of $402.00, with opportunities for flexible scheduling, weekly pay via direct deposit, and comprehensive medical benefits (W-2).
