Opportunity Information:
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire Hospitalists to join their established Hospitalist Program in Jackson, CA.
Flexible Schedule:
- 13 shifts per month
- 12-hour day shifts (avg workload of 11 - 14 patients)
- 12-hour night shifts (avg workload of 2-6 admits)
- Differentials for night shifts
Program Structure includes:
- ICU Coverage (6 bed)
- Vent Management
Scheduling:
- Schedules are made 3 months in advance
- Physicians can expect to work a mix of rounding and night admit shifts every month
- Physicians (in general) have 2 weekends off each month
- Rounding is scheduled in 5 7-day blocks; can be longer or shorter if preferred
MD or DO degree (or equivalent medical degree) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and board certification or board-eligibility in Internal Medicine (for many positions) at time of hire or Family Medicine with 2 years of direct experience.
Valid medical licensure in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain it) prior to starting.

Full-time annual compensation is $323,930, not including bonuses and differentials.
