We currently have openings at both St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. Our hospitalists pay a vital role in ensuring excellent outcomes for our hospitalized patients.
St. Peters Hospital, Hospitalist Program Details:
- 400 Bed Community Hospital
- Closed ICU w/ 24/7 Intensivist Support
- ADC- Rounders average 15 patients on 10 hour shift
- Rounding Day Team staffing model- 20 providers
- Large employed group of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support
- Current openings:
Samaritan Hospital, Hospitalist Program Details:
- 300 Bed Community Hospital
- Closed ICU w/ 24/7 Intensivist Support
- ADC- Rounders average 15 patients on 10 hour shift
- Rounding Day Team staffing model- 8 providers
- Large employed group of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support
- Current Openings:
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admission, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions to stabilize patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Valid medical license in the state of New York.
- Prior experience as a Hospitalist preferred but not required.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.
RECRUITMENT PACKAGE
A comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Base Salary Range: $251,680- $266,240
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
