Abdominal Transplant Surgeon -Liver and Kidney Transplant Team

Position Overview: Cleveland Clinic Florida is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible ASTS Certified (or equivalent) Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join its expanding transplant program.  The successful candidate will work with a team of five surgeons and two ASTS accredited fellows at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. 

The primary responsibilities of this position include performing liver and kidney transplantation, DBD and DCD organ procurement, NRP procurement, and participating to the pre- and post-operative management of liver and kidney transplant patients. Proficiency with the Organox Metra machine perfusion platform is mandatory.

The successful candidate will also be actively involved in the liver and kidney living donor program as well as the hepatobiliary surgery service, and prior experience in these areas is highly desirable
