Responsibilities
- Assess oncology patients' symptoms and make suggestions and recommendations on individual treatment plans
- Update patient records using electronic medical records
- Work closely with oncologists for any changes in symptoms or individual treatment plans
- Medication Management
- Symptom Management
- Conduct physical examinations
- Comply with all HIPAA laws regarding patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred
- Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing
- NP-focused Masters degree
- Successfully passed a National Nurse Practitioner board certification exam
- Previous experience working within oncology in a clinical setting, highly preferred
- Oncology certification a plus
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and license, preferred
Anticipated salary range: $145,000 - $165,000
