Our dedicated pediatric intensive care, pediatric inpatient unit, NICU and thriving multispecialty clinic are all co-located at our flagship campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

  • Collaborative Environment: Join a team of three Pediatric Endocrinologists and two Diabetes Educators/Nutritionists, supported by dedicated clinical staff and inpatient nursing team who use standardized teaching packet for new onset diabetes. 
  • American Diabetes Association: Our program is proudly ADA recognized.   
  • Work-Life Balance: intentional structure to support balance and efficiency, including protected time for inpatient consults and clinic blocks designed to give you time for your patients.  Call is one week per month with support from inpatient physician service and no parent calls after 10pm. 
  • Diverse Patient Population: Work with a culturally and socioeconomically diverse group of patients in a supportive community setting.
  • Systemwide EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation and DAX AI

A truly integrated pediatric community

You will practice alongside a broad pediatric subspecialty group, creating seamless care for children and families across New Mexico. Presbyterian Childrens Care encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services for specialty pediatric care, including a 21 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit; a 56 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; and a 18 bed Pediatric Unit.  We have pediatric intensivist, neonatologist and pediatric hospitalist service in house 24/7.  Our pediatric subspecialties include cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, chronic care, endocrinology, ENT (recruiting), gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, nephrology, neurology, pulmonology, and surgery.

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric endocrine care across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on excellent outcomes
  • Contribute to clinical standards, quality initiatives, and patient?experience improvements
