Physician - Cardiology

Job Title: Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Internal Medicine (Permanent Position)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Cardiologist to join our team in establishing a new outpatient cardiology clinic in Napa, California. This is a permanent, full-time position focused on providing comprehensive cardiac care to both primary care and established patients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our cardiology services and meeting the growing needs of the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient cardiology consultations, diagnosis, and management of a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and stress treadmill testing.
• Participate in a structured call schedule, comprising one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers (APPs), to ensure seamless patient care.
• Coordinate with local cardiology and intervention specialists for procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and STEMI management, continuing to refer to external specialists with hospital privileges at QVMC.
• Manage follow-up care and maintain detailed documentation to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the new PMG Cardiology clinic, aligning services with community needs and insurance coverage requirements.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Valid medical license to practice in California.
• Proven experience in outpatient cardiology, including non-invasive diagnostic procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with medical staff and patients.
