Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, including labor and delivery management
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Level 2 NICU management
• Familiarity with outpatient obstetric clinics
• Prior experience in hospitalist or locum tenens roles
• Knowledge of prenatal and postpartum care management
• Certification in advanced fetal monitoring or other relevant areas

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Residency completion in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetric inpatient care
• Prior locum or temporary provider experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on December 31, 2025
• 24-hour shifts with clinic, on-call, and hospital duties
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 MHAS clinic setting with call responsibilities
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to Prestonsburg, KY as needed
• Compliance with all state and federal licensure and certification requirements

Position Details:

• Shift: 24-hour MHAS (clinic, call, and on-call required)
• Start Date: December 31, 2025
