Physician - Oncology

Join Our Team as a Locum Physician – Oncology in Greenville, SC

We invite qualified candidates to join our esteemed healthcare team providing exceptional oncology services in a dynamic outpatient and inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized medical oncology care to adult and geriatric patients
• Participate actively in tumor board meetings to collaborate on complex cases
• Manage both outpatient and inpatient oncology services, including management of blood disorders, chemotherapy administration, and coordination of diagnostic tests and imaging
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Nurse Oncologists and advanced practice providers
• Engage in call responsibilities approximately one week every six to eight weeks post-permanent placement, if applicable
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient record management

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in South Carolina
• Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
• Proven experience in outpatient and inpatient oncology settings
• Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and supportive care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with bone marrow transplants and hematology care
• Participation in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions
• Familiarity with healthcare technology platforms beyond EPIC

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in oncology
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Ability to travel to Greenville, SC (costs reimbursed for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates)
• Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and safety

This opportunity offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $19.50, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and a robust referral bonus program.
