Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology professional to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this position, you will manage a diverse patient population, including outpatient clinic care and infusion center treatments, providing both diagnostic and therapeutic services. Your expertise will support a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalists, infusion nurses, radiology, and surgical staff, ensuring seamless patient-centered care.

Required Skills:

  • Valid Medical License in the relevant state.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology.
  • Proven experience in managing hematology and oncology patients.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of current cancer treatment protocols and infusion therapies.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working with oncology nurses and infusion centers.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Experience with radiation oncology, interventional radiology, or surgical oncology.
  • Certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or related areas.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary clinic environment.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to see approximately 15-20 clinic patients daily and manage 45 infusion patients per day.
  • Flexibility for on-call responsibilities, with telephonic consultations being limited.
  • No travel required; on-site access to radiation oncology, surgery, IR, and laboratory services.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, coupled with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws, licensing and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
