Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Valid state medical license
• DEA certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to perform emergent procedures (EUS and ERCP preferred but not mandatory)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Prior experience in hospital-based gastroenterology practice
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1-2 years of post-residency experience in a hospital setting
• Proven track record in managing emergent cases and complex patients

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work night shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 24/7 call coverage
• Ability to adapt quickly for credentialing, with emergency privileges available within one week
• No additional licensing requirements; licensure in the state is mandatory
• Travel reimbursements included when applicable
