Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to cardiology patients, with an emphasis on electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, perform diagnostics, and manage patient follow-ups.
  • Document patient interactions thoroughly and maintain compliance with all medical and institutional policies.
  • Support clinic operations during scheduled hours, including coverage for EP cardiology cases.

Required Skills:
  • Valid licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Proven experience in cardiology, specifically in electrophysiology (EP) clinics.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac conditions, diagnostic testing, and treatment protocols.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with advanced cardiac devices and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Familiarity with EKG interpretation and arrhythmia management.
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
  • Additional certifications related to cardiology (e.g., ACLS, PALS).

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology, with a focus on electrophysiology.
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous.

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for additional hours or overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Willingness to assist with clinic coverage as required.

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
