The Department of Radiology at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine invites candidates to be considered for full-time faculty position in Diagnostic Radiology with primary responsibilities at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn . The department provides excellent technology and information systems in a supportive and collegial environment. Radiologists will be equipped with home workstations for remote rotations and call coverage.
The preferred candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and associated ambulatory care centers. Candidates should be board-certified in radiology and preferably fellowship trained in abdominal imaging, MRI or Neuroradiology. There are substantial opportunities for clinical and translational research, and interest and experience in research and educational innovation is encouraged. There are 28 residents and 1 abdominal imaging fellow. Resident and fellow teaching are integral to our mission and evidence of teaching and mentorship are key elements in our search.
Faculty rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applicants should be licensed to practice in the State of Illinois at the time of hire.
