UNC Health Pardee is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join a well-established, collegial cardiology team in the scenic mountains of Western North Carolina. Practice Environment

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias
- Emphasize preventive cardiology, risk-factor modification, and chronic disease management
- Perform and interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress testing
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Participate in shared call rotation
- Educate patients and families on heart health and disease prevention
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within EPIC EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiology
- Eligible for unrestricted North Carolina medical licensure
- Strong clinical acumen and commitment to evidence-based care
