Join Our Team as a Locum Physician – Neurology in Cincinnati, OH

Key Responsibilities:
- Cover inpatient neurological cases for adult patients across hospital settings.
- Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial).
- Administer thrombolytic therapy when necessary.
- Conduct EEG and EMG procedures.
- Perform brain death assessments.
- Collaborate with a team of neurologists and advanced practice providers.
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation.
- Manage a typical caseload of 10-20+ hospital-based patients per day.
- Support the hospital during a critical staffing need until approximately October.
Required Skills:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
- Proven experience with inpatient neurology cases.
- Proficiency in EEG, EMG, and radiologic exam interpretation.
- Strong documentation skills with Electronic Medical Records, specifically Epic.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospital-based or acute care setting.
- Familiarity with thrombolytic protocols.
- Additional certifications or training relevant to neurocritical care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active medical license in Ohio.
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience preferred but not required.
- At least 2 years of clinical neurology practice.
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing is expected to commence immediately.
- Travel reimbursement includes lodging (~$150/night) and standard/economy rates for other bookings.
- Availability to start as soon as credentialing completes, ideally by January 17, 2026.
- Must be able to work 24-hour shifts, TBD.
