Overview:
Seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide standard solo coverage in a busy ER setting. The role involves 12-hour shifts, with an emphasis on efficient, compassionate care for approximately 90-100 patients daily. Candidates must be credentialed with NC Medicaid and enrolled in PECOS to ensure seamless credentialing and compliance. Required Skills:

• Active NC Medicaid credentialing and PECOS enrollment
• Board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume ER efficiently
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with Meditech 6.1 EMR system
• Capacity to provide safe, timely, and effective patient care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in open ICU settings
• Previous work in high-acuity emergency departments
• Familiarity with hospital-owned APTS housing logistics
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Less than 3 years since achieving Board Eligibility or Certification preferred, with Board Eligible physicians considered

Other Requirements:

• Must be enrolled and credentialed with NC Medicaid and PECOS
• Capable of working flexible schedules, including overnight shifts
• Availability for occasional travel-related reimbursements (up to $500)
