Required Skills:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with Board Certification in Oncology
• Valid state medical license with no background issues
• DEA license
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in oncology or hematology
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Cerner
• Expertise in bone marrow biopsies and complex oncology procedures
• Strong communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications such as ACLS and BLS
• Experience in inpatient hospital settings
• Familiarity with cancer-specific treatment protocols
• Participation in research or clinical trials
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completed fellowship in oncology
• At least 3 years of post-fellowship experience in a hospital or cancer center environment

Other Requirements:

• Must have a clean background; pre-approval required immediately upon offer, including submission of full background details and licenses to facilitate background checks
• Willingness to obtain temporary license if necessary
• Ability to commit to 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday to Friday, with inpatient call every 3rd week
• Coverage required: Full-time, at least 3 weeks per month to be considered
• Support staff includes nurses, CMAs, and advanced practitioners
• Support procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
• Contract duration: One year starting May 1, 2026
• Hourly pay rate: $507.00
• Shift: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday through Friday
