Requirements
- Masters degree or higher as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current state licensure and DEA certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in urology, surgical, or outpatient care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills relevant to urology
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Conducting patient history and physical exams in both office and procedural settings
- Assisting with urologic surgeries and procedures
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Developing and implementing individualized patient treatment plans
- Providing patient education on urologic conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- 7 days of after-hours Call Center patient calls coverage per month
- Monitoring assigned surgeon clinical results
- Patient message responses in tandem with the clinical staff team
