Red Rock Specialty Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including:
- Scoliosis
- Dislocations and fractures
- Tendon, muscle, and ligament injuries
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with patients and discuss treatment options
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures to repair, salvage, or replace bones and joints
- Reconnect nerves and restore musculoskeletal function
- Oversee post-operative care and coordinate physical therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists when needed
The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a variety of surgical procedures to improve patient mobility, function, and overall musculoskeletal health.
Qualifications
Education
- MD or DO from an accredited institution (required)
- Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency program (required)
- Fellowship training (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Orthopedic Surgery (preferred)
Licensure & Certifications
- Unrestricted New Mexico State Medical License
- Federal DEA Certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Board Certification expected within two (2) years of hire
- Current ACLS and/or BLS Certifications (required)
Current PALS Certification (required if treating pediatric patients)
