The University of Virginia’s Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, is seeking a clinically driven Hematologist with a focus on classical (non-malignant) hematology to join its growing academic faculty at the open rank and track level.
Position Highlights
- Join UVA’s Classical Hematology Program, a collaborative team specializing in non-malignant hematologic disorders including hemostasis and thrombosis, anemias, platelet disorders, bone marrow failure syndromes, myeloproliferative disorders, and rare hematologic diseases
- Provide outpatient care at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center and participate in the inpatient hematology consult service on an intermittent basis
- Engage in clinical and/or translational research with support to advance scholarly interests
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers in a robust academic environment
- Open rank and tenure track options based on qualifications and experience

- Virginia Medical License (or ability to obtain)
