About this role:
As an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon/Traumatologist at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you can expect to split time between LDS Hospital and the West Valley Clinic Location. The LDS Hospital location will support the hospital Orthopedic Trauma Service. This practice location currently has two additionally trained non-trauma orthopedic specialty providers, 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and additional support staff.
In this role, you can anticipate:
Practicing from LDS Hospital and the West Valley Clinic location in Salt Lake City, Utah
Dedicated daily, fully staffed, orthopedic trauma room
Dedicated clinic and OR days
Weekday orthopedic trauma hospital shifts, with unrestricted night, weekend, and holiday hospital call
APP support in clinic and OR; APP will take first call when on shift
An ideal candidate will practice with a team-based approach and have a background in pediatric orthopedics

What youll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
ACGME accredited residency training in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
BLS certification and DEA
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
