Exciting Opportunity for Locum Nurse Practitioners in OB/GYN at Bad Axe, MI

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN outpatient services, including women's health procedures
• Manage an average of 18-25 patients daily
• Collaborate with support staff including Medical Assistants and Receptionists
• Utilize Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation
• Perform women’s health screenings, exams, and necessary procedures
• Adhere to clinic procedures, safety protocols, and documentation standards

Required Skills:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license with OB/GYN certification
• Proven experience in women's health services
• Strong clinical skills in OB/GYN procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working in outpatient clinics
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR system
• Bilingual abilities in relevant languages, a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN practice
• Valid state licensure in Michigan or willing to obtain prior to assignment

Other Requirements:

• Must have current immunization records: Hep B, MMR, Varicella (or immunity titers), Flu vaccine, Covid documentation, TB test (within 12 months), Tdap (within last 10 years)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for site orientation
• Use of DocTime for clock-in/out; electronic time tracking only
• No third-party lodging booking; rental vehicles reimbursed up to $150, including taxes
• Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses
• Malpractice coverage included in pay package
