We are seeking a dedicated ENT physician to provide weekend call coverage, ensuring our facility maintains its Level II Trauma designation while supporting the needs of our trauma and emergency department teams. This position offers the chance to utilize your specialized skills in procedures such as adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, lump/tumor removal, and audiogram interpretation, operational within a modern hospital environment utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system. The provider will play a vital role in maintaining 24/7 ENT coverage, essential for delivering excellent emergency care and trauma services at our facility.

Required Skills:

  • Board certification in Otolaryngology (MD or DO)
  • Valid medical license and current board certification
  • Proven experience in ENT procedures including adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and tumor removal
  • Ability to work independently with strong diagnostic and procedural skills
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Must be able to cover weekend and holiday shifts as specified

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a trauma or emergency setting
  • Experience with hospital-based ENT services
  • Familiarity with managing complex ENT cases and procedures in a Level II trauma environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in Otolaryngology
  • Prior locum or hospital-based practice preferred but not required

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to Kearney, NE, with preferred lodging accommodations at Candlewood Suites
  • Travel from your current location to Kearney, NE, details to be coordinated
  • Credentialing completion within 30-90 days
  • Availability for scheduled dates in 2026, including July 3-6, September 4-8, and December 24-28
  • Willingness to provide on-call coverage, including holiday shifts, with specific hourly rates for on-call and callback duties
