Hematology/Oncology Physician

Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Hematology and/or Oncology
- Recent patient-facing clinical experience
- Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech
- Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a low-volume, outpatient setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supporting a multidisciplinary team including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Knowledge of current hematology and oncology treatment protocols
- Prior experience working in outpatient clinics or private practice
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and work autonomously
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in hematology/oncology
- Proven expertise in managing a diverse hematology and oncology patient population
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start by April 27, 2026
- Full-time commitment with a schedule of 3-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Ability to support staff with approximately 3 days per week coverage
- Ability to support low-volume patient care (~15 patients/day)
- Credentialing process completion within approximately 60 days
- Travel or licensure reimbursements as applicable
