Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Obstetrician to grow our OB hospitalist group at our Nampa facility.
The Saint Alphonsus OB Hospitalist physicians are patient safety coordinators on Labor and Delivery, supporting OB/GYN physicians and Family Medicine physicians, for full 24/7 continuum of care services for the Nampa Family Maternity Center, where there are over 1,000 deliveries annually. This position can be full-time or part-time. Full time: (1.0 FTE): 154 twelve-hour shifts per year. Part Time: (0.5 FTE): 77 twelve-hour shifts per year. No call required.

Saint Alphonsus Birkland Maternity Center: Our maternity care center is a family-centered model offering large rooms and high comfort options for mothers and families. The hospital offers 24 hour in-house anesthesia coverage and a level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides intensive care services for neonates 32 weeks and above. The NICU is staffed by Neonatolgists and NNPs who cover the 4 bed level II NICU in Nampa as well as our 32 bed Level III NICU in Boise, which provides 24-hour, full-service specialty care, allows families from Boise and the surrounding areas in Idaho and eastern Oregon to receive expert treatment close to home. The NICU's team approach provides an atmosphere for parents and our expert staff to work together to achieve outcomes that exceed national benchmarks. Through special programs developed by the neonatologists and NICU staff, the Saint Alphonsus NICU length-of-stay and complication rates are significantly lower than the national average.
