In this vital position, you will provide quality cardiology care across inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting both hospital and clinic operations. You will collaborate with a team of physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive cardiac services, including general, invasive, and electrophysiology procedures.

Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oregon
• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications in cardiology or acute care
• Experience with device clinics and electrophysiology
• Previous work in hospital and outpatient cardiology settings
• Bilingual abilities a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
• Recent experience in a cardiology practice, preferably in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to accept a 3-month assignment with potential for extension
• Ability to work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (0730-1630)
• Participation in a 4-hour unpaid EPIC EMR training
• Complete orientation, paid at half the hourly rate
• Compliance with all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursement policies
• Work hours include inpatient and outpatient care on a rotating schedule with approximately 15-18 clinic patients and 8-15 hospital patients daily
• Certification in BLS/ACLS preferred
