We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical or Surgical Retina Specialist to join our practice. Responsibilities:

  • Established retina volume with strong internal and community referral network
  • Opportunity to focus on medical retina or build/expand surgical volume
  • Access to modern diagnostic imaging and in-office retinal procedure capabilities
  • Support from experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff
  • Efficient infrastructure designed to minimize administrative burden
  • Flexible scheduling with potential for long-term growth and partnership-style opportunity
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of retinal conditions, including: Diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, and macular edema
  • Perform intravitreal injections, in-office retinal procedures, and laser treatments
  • For surgical candidates: perform vitreoretinal surgery including vitrectomy, membrane peels, retinal detachment repair, and related procedures
  • Collaborate closely with referring providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based care
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care aligned with best clinical practices

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
  • Fellowship training in Medical or Surgical Retina
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused mindset
