We are seeking highly qualified Ob-Gyn providers to deliver exceptional patient care during a critical coverage period. As part of our team, you will play a key role in managing high-risk pregnancies, conducting emergent procedures, and collaborating with dedicated hospital staff to ensure optimal outcomes for women in our community.
Required Skills:
- Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA registration
- NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS enrollment
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current and unrestricted medical malpractice insurance with no recent or open cases
- Demonstrated experience actively delivering babies; case logs from the past 24 months required
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage emergent GYN and obstetric cases
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitalist or on-call obstetrics care
- Familiarity with high-risk pregnancy management or transfers to tertiary care
- Knowledge of hospital systems and electronic health records
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Residency completed in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience, especially in hospital-based settings
Other Requirements:
- Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital premises
- Must have NPI number
- Will require rounding on patients, on-call for emergent Cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and GYN procedures
- Will participate in coverage from Tuesday, May 5th, 8:00 AM through Friday, May 8th, 8:00 AM, including 24-hour call duties
- Provider housing in hospital-adjacent apartments during assignment
- Capable of managing approximately 27 deliveries per month, with 11 C-sections on average
- Travel reimbursements capped at $500; all travel costs must be included in your bid
