Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Surgery

St. Joseph’s Health is seeking per diem PAs and NP RFNAs to join our inpatient orthopedic surgery team in Syracuse, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of hospital employed orthopedic surgeons and Advanced Practitioners in a hospital-based setting, providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures. 

Position Details: 

• First assist in surgical procedures
• ED Ortho (reduction/splinting/casting/injections).
• Inpatient management of orthopedic surgery patients 
• Pre- and post-operative assessments, rounding, discharge planning 
• Collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams 
• NYS licensure as PA or  NP (RFNA) required
• DEA certification required
• ACLS/BLS certification required
• Experience in orthopedic or surgical inpatient care required
• New grads will not be considered

Compensation:

• $110.00 per hour
