Required Skills:

• Physician Assistant licensed provider with active CA license and CA DEA registration
• Proven ability to perform radical and endoscope vein harvesting
• Proficient in interpreting ECGs, X-rays, labs, and managing ECMO, IABP, and Impella devices
• Experience assisting in operating rooms and providing ICU or step-down patient management
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• 3-5 years of relevant cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgical experience
• Familiarity with hospital-based clinical workflows
• Advanced procedural skills and familiarity with intraoperative monitoring techniques
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills to enhance patient interactions

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Physician Assistant with comprehensive surgical training
• Prior experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery settings
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in high-pressure scenarios

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work 3-4 days per week with flexible scheduling options
• Willingness to participate in a call schedule with 1:2 rotation, including weekday and weekend on-call duties
• Ability to work from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, with duties encompassing OR assistance, rounding, and clinic responsibilities
• Willingness to travel and accommodate other reimbursements when applicable
• Hourly pay rate of $1.00
