Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Urology
- Active state medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Proven proficiency in urological procedures, including management of kidney stones and stent placements
- Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently during assigned weeks and handle high patient volumes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospitalist setting
- Prior involvement in emergency or tertiary hospital environments
- Familiarity with non-robotic urological procedures
- Basic knowledge of hospital systems and protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency urology practice preferred
- Prior locum or temporary healthcare experience advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work one week at a time, Friday 4PM to Friday 7AM
- Willingness to participate in system call responsibilities
- Must be comfortable managing hospital and emergency department cases
- Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred
- Availability to travel to the facility as required; all travel and licensure reimbursements provided
