We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurohospitalist to join our inpatient Neurology service in Albuquerque. This role offers balance, collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to a program that is committed to improving the health of New Mexicans.
Role Highlights
- 1,820 annual hours with a consistent 7 on and 7 off schedule
- Guaranteed salary
- No nights. Night coverage provided through an established telemedicine partner
- Consult only service. Hospitalists complete admissions and discharges
- Advanced Practice Clinician support
- System wide Epic EMR
- Relocation assistance, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice coverage
What You Will Do
- Provide inpatient neurology consultations and exercise independent medical judgment
- Review and interpret MRI and CT imaging
- Read EEGs if experienced or interested
- Collaborate with hospitalists, APCs, and Neurology colleagues
- Participate in system level efforts that enhance quality, performance, and patient experience
- Contribute to a culture grounded in compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Ability to independently interpret MRI and CT imaging
- Eligibility for a New Mexico medical license
- Commitment to patient centered care and team partnership
