Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and current medical licensure in Ohio.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Proven experience in emergency departments with excellent clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with All Scripts or Paragon EMR systems.
• Prior oversight or leadership of APP teams.
• Background in trauma centers or high-volume ERs.
• Familiarity with hospital admission and transfer procedures.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice.
• Previous locum or hospital-based emergency care experience.

Other Requirements:

• Availability for a minimum of 5 shifts per month, ideally 8-10 shifts, with ongoing availability for 12+ months.
• Shifts scheduled from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM.
• Credentialing process to commence immediately; expected start date approximately 60+ days after onboarding.
• No trauma designation required.
• All travel arrangements must be booked through our designated provider, OVP.
• Physician will oversee APPs and handle hospital admissions.
• Ability to adhere to hospital policies, including no overtime.
• Compensation at $273 per hour.
• Providers should be prepared to work in a comprehensive hospital environment with 11 beds, an annual volume of 18,527 ED visits, and a fast-track system in place.
• Certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required.
