Physician - Neurology

Job Title: Neurology Physician – Immediate Opening for Locum Coverage

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in neurology with the ability to interpret EEGs
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
• Strong clinical skills in managing referrals and patient evaluations
• Capable of completing new patient appointments within 40 minutes and follow-ups within 20 minutes once established
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a clinic setting utilizing Epic EMR
• Additional certification in neurology or EEG interpretation
• Familiarity with outpatient scheduling and clinic workflows

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in neurology
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in neurology practice
• Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday
• Availability for a minimum of two weeks per month, with potential for full-time hours
• Must be able to read EEGs effectively
• Credentialing process completion prior to start date
• Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations
• This position may require occasional travel or reimbursements, as applicable
