Required Skills:

• Active California medical license and CA DEA registration
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility within 5 years of residency
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage clinic patients and hospital deliveries effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in hospital and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts smoothly

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Previous locum or hospital-based practice experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Privileging process takes approximately 90 days; timely submission of required documentation is essential
• Availability to work approximately 3-4 days per week, primarily between 9 am-4 pm (with flexibility for start time)
• Willingness to be on call 3-4 days per week, including occasional overnight (24-hour call)
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day, with overtime applicable after 8 hours
