Obstetrics and Gynecology (Locum Tenens) – Join Our Dynamic Women's Health Team!

Are you a dedicated OB-GYN looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling? We are seeking a highly skilled provider to deliver exceptional care to women at our esteemed facility. This role offers the opportunity to work approximately 3-4 days per week, combining clinic responsibilities with hospital deliveries, fostering a fulfilling and diverse practice environment.

In this position, you will provide compassionate obstetric and gynecological care, primarily in clinic, with a support system that includes hospital deliveries at St. Joseph's Medical Center. The schedule is generally from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with optional start times from 8:30 a.m., and on-call duties approximately 3-4 days weekly (either weekday or weekend), including overnight coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. on call. You will have scheduling flexibility, including allocated administrative half-days, ensuring optimal work-life balance. Guaranteed hours are 8 per day, with overtime paid after 8 hours.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Active California medical license and CA DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency completion
• Medical certifications including BLS and ACLS
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in both outpatient and hospital obstetrics and gynecology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle high-volume patient visits efficiently

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prior experience with hospital privileges at a similar facility is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Privileging process completion within 90 days; start date planned for June 1, 2026
• Willingness to attend to hospital and clinic responsibilities, including call duties
• Must ensure all licensure, certification, and credentialing documents are submitted promptly for privileging approval
