This role offers a vital service within a reputable 114-bed Level II Trauma hospital, covering diverse cases such as OR procedures, GI lab, OB C-section emergencies, and epidurals. You will work alongside a team of seasoned professionals, managing a varied patient population from all age groups. With a focus on quality care, you will document intraoperatively and manage anesthesia needs across multiple departments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills
- CRNA Board Certification and valid licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Proficient in managing surgical, endoscopy, OB, and epidural anesthesia
- Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons and medical team members
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with TEE, cardioversion, or emergency procedures
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Previous experience in Level II trauma or similar hospital settings
- Willingness to handle call responsibilities (optional weekday and weekend calls)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing with specialized anesthesia training
- At least 1 year of relevant anesthesia practice in a hospital environment
Other Requirements
- Valid state license for CRNA
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory
- Local candidates preferred; travel reimbursements available for eligible candidates
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, dayshift, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (with flexibility)
- Start Date: May 4, 2026, for a 3-month assignment with an option to extend
- Hourly Pay Rate: $230.10
