Hackensack Meridian Health is actively seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urogynecologist to join its growing and dynamic team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC). Responsibilities:

  • Education and Mentorship: Develop and deliver a comprehensive curriculum in gynecology and urogynecology for residents. Provide expert supervision to Ob/Gyn residents in all facets of urogynecological care and actively participate in didactic conferences with residents and medical students.
  • Surgical Training: Foster a hands-on learning environment by allowing residents to assist in all urogynecological surgical cases, ensuring a structured progression of their surgical responsibilities.
  • Academic Engagement: Guide residents in developing clinical research projects, complete timely resident evaluations, and regularly attend and host Journal Club meetings.
  • Clinical Practice: Perform urogynecological surgery, including for indigent patients, to ensure high-quality care for the entire community.
  • Practice Growth: Collaborate with the practice manager and staff to ensure efficient operations. Build strong relationships with other physicians and participate in community outreach, such as health fairs and educational seminars.
  • Collaboration: Develop and nurture professional relationships with physicians and staff at JSUMC and other Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) campuses, including Ocean University Medical Center (OUMC), to promote practice growth to Bayshore Medical Center (BMC).
  • On-Call Duties: Share on-call responsibilities equally with other urogynecologists for JSUMC and participate in the gynecological call schedule as assigned by the Chairman.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urogynecology.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a New Jersey Medical License.

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $330,513. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
